ALL NPP IN GERMAN WILL BE CLOSED - After discussions and negotiations for 7 hours, the German government finally announced that by 2022, will close all nuclear power plants, amounting to as many as 17 nuclear power plants.German Environment Minister Norbert Roettgen, said that seven of Germany's oldest nuclear power plants already in suspension in March last, and will soon be closed permanently. He also said that six nuclear power plant, in 2021, while three new nuclear power plants, will be closed in 2022 for standby power.
"This decision is consistent, firm and clear," Roettgen said, "There will be no clause for revision."
